Everyone deserves to live a meaningful life, no matter what we have experienced or where we may come from. Therapy can be a great place to explore your values, beliefs, and attitudes, and examine how you might reorient those concepts to align with your authentic self. My clients are the experts on their own lives, and I am here to facilitate your exploration of yourself, others, and your worldview to find meaning in life. I have worked in community mental health for six years, and I focus on trauma-informed care for those with complex trauma histories, specializing in complex trauma, grief, and existential concerns as a therapist. As an existential-humanistic therapist, I aim to guide you in exploring what it means to be human and take responsibility for your life. I am trauma-informed and person-centered, ensuring therapy sessions are led by your pace in a way that feels safe to you, with goals aligned with your hopes and needs. As a divorced, cisgender, LGBTQ woman living with a chronic illness, I recognize and affirm your intersecting identities, while understanding I can never know your experiences firsthand. I enjoy using humor, creative interventions, and a holistic mind-body approach in my therapy sessions. I believe in the healing power of nature, animals, and movement in mental healthcare. It is a privilege to know you and I look forward to our work together.
